Enjoy all things truffles at the Oxbow Public Market for four days, beginning Friday, Jan. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. In conjunction with the Napa Truffle Festival, Oxbow market vendors will be putting on special truffle menus. There will be truffle pizzas, truffle tacos and enchiladas, grilled oysters with real truffle, truffle cheese and much more. The truffle menus and programs at the Oxbow this year will extend through all four days of the MLK weekend. Visitors can even meet and pet the cutest truffle dogs.
During the Truffle Festival Marketplace, extremely fresh European black truffles will be on sale. Look for the American Truffle Company kiosk, which is making the same truffles sourced for the Michelin star/master chefs at the truffle festival, available for purchase. Buy your own fresh perigord black truffle, then sign up for a chance to win a whole black diamond (truffle, that is).
Truffle recipes by Michelin-starred Chef Ken Frank will be included with every purchase while supplies last. Wander the stalls and dig into everything from truffled goat cheese enchiladas, seared nigiri with truffle-infused caviar, grilled oysters with truffle butter to truffle fries. Don’t miss the dark velvet chocolate truffles, bittersweet truffle cocktails, and cheeky cookies and cream cupcakes with little pink truffle pigs. Also, taste wines, see truffle cooking demos, and shop for specialty foods and products at this one-of-a-kind truffle marketplace.
In addition to Friday night, the Truffle Marketplace will be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Jan. 13, 14 and 15) 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
