Demand from tourists nudged the original owner into offering bike rentals and later tours. Go Electric (or Not): A full 40% of Napa Valley Bike Tours' guests opt for pedal-assist E-Bikes. Three levels of pedal-assist drive a motor that amps the rider's pedaling effort so they can ride farther and faster than they would on a regular bike, without having to break a sweat. That said, Napa Valley Bike Tours' most popular routes are in the 10-15 miles range and entirely along the valley floor, which is mostly flat to gently rolling. So, riders aiming for a little more exercise will find that a 10-speed Cruiser Bike will fit the bill while still offering a lightweight and efficient ride. Performance road bikes, kids bikes, trailers and tag-alongs are also available for rental.
