Tickets are on sale for the Napa Valley Vintners’ Collective Napa Valley Auction Weekend, and it is sounding more and more like the traditional and popular event formerly called Auction Napa Valley, and before that, Napa Valley Wine Auction.

They’ve even resurrected the name Auction Napa Valley for the live auction on Saturday, June 1.

The Napa Valley Barrel Auction on Friday, May 31, also returns.

Those who buy full access are invited to dinners at wineries and vintners’ homes as well as other experiences at wineries.

The Barrel Auction will be at Hall St. Helena. Attendees can get a first taste and bid on small-production wines from the barrel by Napa Valley winemakers. Napa Valley restaurants will provide food.

The re-imagined Auction Napa Valley takes place at Far Niente winery in Oakville.

The evening includes a wine dinner alfresco and the live auction, which is now conducted by Sotheby’s.

The weekend will wrap up with dancing, late-night bites and more wine.

You can buy tickets for the Barrel Auction only for $500 or for the full package of all events during the weekend for $5,000. They sell out quickly. Buy tickets at www.CollectiveNapaValley.org.

Proceeds from the weekend’s festivities benefit youth mental health in Napa Valley.

Collective Napa Valley is a year-round philanthropy program created to raise funds for the Napa Valley community by leveraging its wines and hospitality.

The Napa Valley Vintners have raised and donated $230 million to community healthcare, youth development and the environment in Napa County since it was founded in 1981.
