The Calistoga Art Center’s annual Calistoga house tour series begins this month and will feature private art collections and distinct architecture.
The tours will take place on the Saturdays of Aug. 31, Sept. 26 and Oct. 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. There are 40 tickets available for each of the three house tours. Individual tickets are $125 each and a bundle of all three tickets is $300. Proceeds will benefit the Calistoga Art Center.
Aug. 31: PINSKY HOUSE AND ART STUDIO
Walking into the Pinsky house is like walking into a contemporary art gallery. The crisp, modern architecture showcases Babette’s and Steven’s collection of glass sculptures, large scale paintings, photographs, and drawings. Babette will have her art studio open as well.

Sept. 28: MERCHANT HOUSE AND COTTAGE
The transformation of this former church to a modern, downtown Calistoga home showcases a space that is calm and serene, yet vibrant with art and design. Pat Merchant has created a grand but cozy interior design filled with fine art and artifacts.

Oct. 26: CA’TOGA VILLA AND GARDENVilla CA'TOGA features the residence and studio of Carlo Marchiori, an artist born in Rossano, Italy. Internationally known for his period-style murals, this palatial retreat is an homage to Palladio, Veronese and Venetian culture. The artistic interiors and magnificent gardens are a feast for the senses.
